Meta, which wants to increase competition in messaging applications, continues to bring new features to WhatsApp. WhatsApp users will now have the opportunity to pin multiple messages. Here are the details…
WhatsApp introduces the ability to pin multiple messages
Last December, WhatsApp introduced the ability to pin messages in one-to-one and group chats, but only one message could be pinned in a chat. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and WhatsApp president Will Cathcart announced that users can now pin up to three messages in individual and group chats.

Users can pin different types of messages, including text, images and polls. To pin a message, long-press on it, select “Pin” from the menu and choose the duration.
The message will be pinned for seven days by default, but there are also options to pin for 24 hours or 30 days. After this period, if the message is not unpinned by the user, it will be unpinned automatically.
Clicking on the pinned message will take you to the full message in the conversation. In group chats, however, group administrators can allow members to pin messages, and all members of that group will be notified when a message is pinned.
Unfortunately, once a message is pinned, users who joined the group cannot see it. Those who do not have a group chat history or who deleted the message before it was pinned will also not be able to see it.
